Job Title
Senior Systems Engineer
Job Description
As part of a dynamic Systems Engineering team the Senior Systems Engineer will help specify and design Audience products to ensure easy and smooth integration of Audience into target systems. The scope of contribution includes hardware at the silicon and board levels, and embedded real-time software. This position reports to the Director of Systems Engineering. Responsibilities include:
- Requirements gathering
- Software and hardware specifications and architecture
- Real-time embedded software development and debugging in simulation and on target systems
- Staying abreast of the most recent developments, designs, and architectures in the personal communication systems
Key Experience
Required
- Strong system design experience in hardware and software
- In-depth knowledge of real-time embedded software development practices and methodologies
- Strong technical skills in design, coding, and debugging of both C and assembly code
- Strong experience using test equipment such as logic analyzers and scopes
- Strong experience in time budget allocation

- Strong experience in time budget allocation
Education Requirements
Required
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computers Science, or related field of study and 5+ years post academic experience in a related field
Desired
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computers Science, or related field of study and 5+ years post academic experience in a related field
